  • TerpNav v.3- http://vis.cs.umd.edu:8080/map/
  • This link may not function for too much longer, however this is the current development server for TerpNav. You may wish to look at TerpNav v.1 (map.umd.edu) for comparison. I was the chief programmer on the upgrade and continue to work on it as an independent study class. Currently I am the only programmer doing development. All the JavaScript to create the tabs and boxes on the left-hand menu is mine, along with a large amount of the PHP back end and a lot of the JavaScript responsible for actually allowing you to interact with the map (especially the Layers). I also did a lot of work to improve the response time of the application.

  • UMBC Bookstore - http://bookstore.umbc.edu/
  • This site is currently created and hosted by MBS which has a proprietary content management system and hosts all the sites on their servers. We were unable to access the actual source files, however, we were able to circumvent some annoying features by using JavaScript and CSS formatting within the editable areas. We also did a complete redesign of all the pages and of the overall theme.

  • UMDIV - http://umdiv.org

I developed this site for a group that I participate in on campus. I did all the design work and also developed my own mailing list and news feed functionality, along with some content management features that allow for the leaders of the group to change much of the information displayed on the site from an admin panel. The news feed can also be monitored and stories posted or deleted. The site also integrates some anti-spam and anti-bot code to help keep the emails from being harvested and the forms from being spammed.

  • Valley PCA - http://joshecaldwell.com/sites/valley/

These are some web templates I worked up as part of a presentation for my church. Unfortunately, because of political issues I decided not to accept the contract. However, I feel that these represent some of my web design abilities. Additionally, the Voltage photos page includes a javascript image gallery that I developed and own the code to.
